Fullstack Developer (React/Python)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; London, United Kingdom; New York, NY, United States

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain an in-house distributed-compute framework for large-scale execution across the computing cluster.
• Build backend processes that ingest and transform large volumes of data.
• Develop React-based UIs for visualizing and acting on financial, operational, and trading data in real time.
• Work with algorithm developers and traders on tools for monitoring trading processes, executing manual trades, assessing risk, and researching strategy improvements.
• Own projects end to end, from requirements gathering and planning through delivery, support, and iteration.

Requirements

• Experience with Python and React.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern web framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and explain complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Backend programming skills and the ability to work across both frontend and backend development.
