Financial Systems Lead (NetSuite)

What you will do

• Own financial-systems strategy and execution across more than 90 subsidiary companies.
• Evaluate QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, industry-specific ERPs, payment processors, sales tax software, accounting automation, and other financial tools.
• Lead ERP transitions with implementation partners and company finance teams, including configuration, customization, and process-change decisions.
• Establish scalable standards for multi-subsidiary accounting, intercompany transactions, reporting structures, and tax compliance.
• Assess vendor proposals, challenge over-engineered solutions, and advise leadership on technology investments.
• Act as the escalation point for financial-systems problems, diagnosing issues and supporting hands-on troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in ERP implementations, financial-systems leadership, enterprise accounting, or a related field.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of NetSuite and practical experience with other financial-systems tools.
• Strong judgment in financial-systems architecture, platform selection, vendor evaluation, and solution trade-offs.
• Clear communication with finance teams, implementation partners, technology leaders, and business executives.
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, growing organization and contribute directly to execution.

Nice to have

• Experience leading ERP implementations or modernization initiatives for companies with multiple subsidiaries or complex financial needs.
• Background as a financial-systems consultant, solution architect, or in-house finance technology leader.
• Experience managing multiple financial-systems platforms and tools.
• Experience in financial operations, corporate accounting, or finance technology.
• Hands-on expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar cloud platforms.
