NetSuite Functional Consultant, Senior (NL)

Location: Netherlands (Remote); travel on-site as needed, estimated at 30% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead business process discovery with stakeholders, document current-state processes, identify gaps, and design future-state solutions.
• Design and configure NetSuite financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Consolidation, and Intercompany, while proposing alternatives and documenting functional specifications.
• Architect data migration strategies and validate data cleansing and transformation rules.
• Own project governance with support from a project manager by developing test plans, leading UAT, managing scope deviations, and communicating risks and timelines.
• Design and deliver training programs, document best practices, and mentor junior team members.
• Support go-live and post-implementation stabilization for 30–60 days.

Requirements

• 5 years of NetSuite ERP experience and 5+ full-cycle implementations.
• Proven experience configuring financial processes in GL, AR, AP, Consolidation, or Intercompany accounting.
• Background in enterprise software implementation, preferably in financial or accounting systems.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Expertise in NetSuite financial module design and configuration.
• Experience with data migration architecture and validation.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior team members, work effectively with multicultural teams, and manage complex projects independently.

Nice to have

• Fluent Dutch for client interaction.
• NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant certification.
• Experience with the SuiteSuccess implementation methodology.
• Experience configuring SuiteProjects, ARM, or Subscription Management.
• System integration and architecture knowledge.
• CPA or bachelor’s degree.
