Salary: $180,000–$450,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect and develop a high-performance native Android application with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement real-time speech, audio, and video streaming for multimodal AI interactions.
• Build efficient interfaces to backend AI services and optimize latency and responsiveness.
• Own mobile development from implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with designers, platform engineers, and AI model developers on intuitive interfaces.
• Optimize UI rendering, network calls, background processing, power consumption, testing, code quality, and accessibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and Android performance optimization.
• Experience with real-time features such as streaming, WebSockets, or live audio/video.
• Experience shipping polished Android applications to the Play Store.
• Ability to work across the stack with backend services and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating ML or AI features into mobile applications.
• Background in audio/video processing, real-time communication, or 3D graphics on mobile.
• Open-source Android contributions or published technical writing.
• Experience building 0-to-1 products at early-stage companies.
• Interest in new interaction paradigms between humans and AI systems.
