Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: Work from anywhere; working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET. Listed hiring locations include Mexico City, New York, California, Cairo, Central Luzon, and São Paulo.

What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new clients, configuring products for their workflows, data, and systems.
• Build custom integrations, scripts, and lightweight tools connecting core products with client systems.
• Translate ambiguous client requirements into scoped technical plans and execute implementations independently.
• Act as the primary technical contact, running discovery calls and debugging issues with client stakeholders.
• Monitor deployed solutions for reliability and performance, and resolve or flag issues proactively.
• Document reusable deployment patterns and provide structured feedback to product and engineering.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with direct client- or field-facing exposure.
• Full-stack or backend proficiency with hands-on production coding experience.
• Experience building custom integrations, scripts, or internal tools for external client systems.
• End-to-end ownership of technical implementations, including scoping, building, shipping, and support.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions or live debugging with clients.
• C1+ English required for communication with US-based client accounts.

Nice to have

• Experience with API integrations, webhooks, OAuth, or SSO.
• Startup or agency experience with rapidly changing client requirements.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, or Python scripting.
• Experience combining sales engineering or customer success with hands-on coding.
