Backend Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Tel Aviv, Israel; offices are located in Azrieli Sarona, Tel Aviv.

What you will do

• Build and scale customer-facing and internal web, infrastructure, security, and insurance software.
• Develop well-tested, organized, and robust backend code for a rapidly growing organization.
• Work in a cloud-based environment with continuous integration and deployment.
• Own production code, respond quickly to bugs, and keep new and existing software running smoothly.
• Collaborate openly with developers to solve complex software problems and deliver high-quality code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience with Python, Java, or Go; Python is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and networking is required.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and coding for cloud production environments such as AWS.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-based architecture and infrastructure such as Kafka, Kinesis, or SNS/SQS.
