Forward Deployed Engineer (Clinical Data)

Location: Remote for the US; UK-based role with 3 days per week from the London office

hirify.global is building a technology-first clinical trial infrastructure and developing clinical-stage therapeutic assets to help promising treatments reach patients.

What you will do

• Build assigned clinical studies across the Citrus ecosystem, including data collection forms, participant schedules, logic, edit-check rules, and user access.
• Set up and manage study integrations and data pipelines.
• Run quality checks, build validation processes, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, and support go-live.
• Make approved changes to live studies while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Own technical support tickets for data corrections and the data warehouse, and debug Citrus under software engineering oversight.
• Build automated and agentic workflows, contribute to the core Citrus codebase, and provide technical input on data architecture and trial delivery.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in software, data, or systems work, gained through technical education or hands-on experience.
• Strong coding skills and proficiency with AI tools; experience with Django Admin and/or relational databases is valued.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and identify gaps or ambiguities early.
• Interest in working in a regulated environment and producing systems and documentation suitable for audit or inspection.
• UK-based employees are expected to work from the London office 3 days per week; the US offer is remote.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical trials or life sciences.
• Experience contributing to software engineering or data architecture work.
