Senior Accountant

Location: Remote, United States only

Base salary: $101,250–$118,750 annually

What you will do

• Lead accurate and timely month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage close workflows, task tracking, and reconciliations in Numeric.
• Oversee corporate cards, employee reimbursements, accounts payable, and spend workflows in Ramp.
• Reconcile subscription billing, SaaS metrics, and payment gateway transactions in Maxio.
• Maintain equity records, stock-based compensation schedules, and capitalization table reporting in Carta.
• Support audits, tax filings, compliance requirements, financial reporting, system enhancements, and special projects.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• At least 3 years of progressive general ledger accounting experience, preferably in technology or SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close procedures, and account reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and modern financial tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Prior public accounting experience at a Big Four or national firm.
• Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 340 capitalized commissions, or equity accounting.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts such as LLMs, agents, copilots, tokens, context windows, RAG, and data governance.
