Senior Project Manager, Data Center Expansion – France

Location: France; remote status listed as hybrid, with frequent travel to data center sites across France.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and develop data center and infrastructure expansion opportunities across France.
• Assess site proposals and colocation facilities, including power, cooling, fibre connectivity, redundancy, rack density, and physical security.
• Lead RFI/RFP, tendering, procurement, vendor shortlisting, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
• Negotiate and manage colocation leases, power agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Manage budgets, financial models, investment cases, project risks, and reporting to senior management.
• Coordinate Construction, Data Center Operations, Hardware, Procurement, and Legal workstreams while engaging authorities, utilities, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data center capacity acquisition, colocation procurement, or infrastructure real estate, with hands-on French market experience.
• Technical ability to assess power and cooling infrastructure and identify facility gaps.
• Direct experience reviewing colocation proposals and managing shortlisting processes.
• Proven experience running RFI/RFP processes, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating commercial terms.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating colocation and power contracts.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to sites across France.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-density GPU or HPC facilities, including 140kW+ per rack, liquid cooling readiness, and InfiniBand-compatible infrastructure.
• Relationships with major French colocation operators and capacity brokers.
• Familiarity with French power markets, grid connections, substation capacity timelines, and renewable energy sourcing.
• Experience closing multiple simultaneous deals from technical evaluation through contract execution.
