Senior Software Engineer, Testing (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work required two days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Westport, Connecticut campus.

Salary: $350,000–$500,000 annual total compensation, including base salary, discretionary bonus, and potential long-term incentive. Expected base salary is 50–75% of the range.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation platforms for complex, mission-critical systems.
• Develop diagnostic and validation tools for production and QA environments.
• Enable end-to-end automated testing of business logic and system performance.
• Support agentic and AI-driven testing workflows to accelerate development cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.
• Improve reliability by reducing testing time, preventing production issues, and contributing to testing strategy during platform re-architecture, including OMS SaaS migration.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals and 4+ years of experience in technically rigorous engineering environments.
• 2+ years of experience in SDET or test architecture roles with a strong software engineering focus.
• Ability to design diagnostic tools and testing infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
• Exposure to agentic systems or autonomous testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with low-latency systems and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience building complex test automation platforms from scratch.
• Background with OMS or similar platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems, data platforms, financial systems, trading, or portfolio systems.
• Experience integrating AI/ML tools into testing workflows.
