Software Engineer (Python)

Salary: USD 200,000–300,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient, and scalable software systems.
• Debug complex issues across distributed systems in a time-sensitive environment.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and support.
• Improve scheduling efficiency for distributed computations and accelerate research iteration.
• Build developer tools, Jupyter extensions, AI tools, and LLM-based operational support solutions.
• Develop systems that interact with trading venues and monitor risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience at a top-tier finance or technology company with a strong performance record.
• Proficiency in Python, assessed during the technical interview.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong debugging, critical-thinking, kindness, and empathy skills.
• Ability to thoughtfully, methodically, and reliably deploy software and features.

• Experience applying cutting-edge technology or contributing directly to its development.
• Management experience.
