Engineering Manager, CLEAR1 (B2B)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid work environment.

Salary: $275,000–$350,000 annual total compensation, including base salary, annual bonus incentive, and new-hire equity.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and develop software engineers through feedback, performance management, and career growth.
• Set priorities, run planning cadences, and deliver the hirify.global1 engineering roadmap against business commitments.
• Translate partner and customer needs into scalable platform capabilities in collaboration with Product, Design, Operations, and Engineering.
• Lead delivery across partner integrations, healthcare-related workflows, identity and authentication capabilities, and reusable platform improvements.
• Guide architecture, technical tradeoffs, and dependency management to improve reliability, delivery speed, and long-term platform leverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing and developing software engineers, with strong coaching and team leadership skills.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, architecture, and system design.
• Proficiency in modern object-oriented languages, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience building cloud-native applications and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills for translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional partners.
• Ability to work across teams and disciplines to deliver cohesive, end-to-end experiences.
