Applications Engineer - Power Modules (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Research and design new DC/DC power module products.
• Collaborate with design engineers, field applications, and marketing to verify and develop converter features.
• Provide technical support and training for customers in the EU and US.
• Develop application-based evaluation platforms for real-world demonstrations.
• Write articles, application notes, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in power electronics; entry-level applicants are also welcome.
• Strong system-level knowledge of DC/DC converters.
• Hands-on hardware and bench experience in low- to mid-voltage environments below 60V.
• Familiarity with system-level simulation and analysis using SIMPLIS.
• Familiarity with PCB design software such as OrCAD or Altium.
• Fluent English communication skills, with strong writing and presentation abilities; an MSEE specializing in power electronics is required.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python.
• Previous experience at a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company.
