Power Electronics Hardware Engineer

Develops integrated clean-energy technology combining structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Design and develop power electronics hardware for energy conversion systems.
• Define hardware architectures, schematics, component selections, power stages, gate drivers, protection circuits, auxiliary power supplies, and control interfaces.
• Perform electrical, thermal, magnetic, and reliability calculations and simulations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, schematics, calculations, and bills of materials.
• Support prototype builds, pilot production, product industrialization, certification, and supplier activities.
• Conduct laboratory verification, troubleshooting, hardware failure analysis, and corrective-action implementation.

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of professional experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken, are required.
• Ability to work rigorously and methodically, learn quickly, act proactively, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to support compliance with IEC, UL, CE, and other applicable international standards.

Nice to have

• Industrial Engineering degree with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
