Director, Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) & Grid

What you will do

• Build and maintain senior relationships with renewable energy developers, EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and asset owners.
• Lead technical engagement for utility-scale solar, BESS, and eBOS projects, including design, constructability, performance, and compliance guidance.
• Support product specification, procurement packages, tender submissions, technical proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Provide market intelligence on grid connection requirements, industry standards, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, and supply chain teams on product development and innovation.
• Represent the business at industry events, technical forums, customer meetings, and working groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in Australia's renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, or utility sectors.
• Experience supporting utility-scale solar and/or Battery Energy Storage System projects.
• Strong understanding of eBOS systems, electrical infrastructure, utility-scale project delivery, and Australian Standards.
• Established relationships with developers, EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and Australian renewable energy stakeholders.
• Strong technical credibility, commercial judgment, business development, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status.
