Cloud Software Engineer (Azure)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office work is required

hirify.global is reshaping the data storage industry through enterprise cloud storage services and a joint Azure initiative with Microsoft.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the production control-plane service powering hirify.global Cloud Azure Native for real customers.
• Build features for user flows, system-state visibility, metering, billing, and service usability.
• Improve production reliability through test automation, CI/CD, metrics, and alerting.
• Design and improve tools and engineering patterns using Go, Python, Azure, Kubernetes, Temporal, and related platform services.
• Simplify code and APIs, reduce technical debt, and improve operational safety.
• Collaborate with Pure Storage Cloud teams and Microsoft engineers on design, integration, and incident follow-ups.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production backend services or APIs.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language, such as Go, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience owning services end to end, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills across service boundaries, APIs, and cloud components.
• Clear communication, collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning skills.
• Ability to work from the Prague office in accordance with company policies, except during approved leave or work travel.

Nice to have

• Experience building or operating SaaS and cloud services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD automation.
