TL;DR
Python Developer (AdTech): Building scalable backend services and APIs for an AI-powered advertising technology platform with an accent on asynchronous Python architecture, external service integrations, and database optimization. Focus on designing REST and GraphQL APIs, integrating AI and advertising platforms, and improving system scalability, reliability, and performance.
Location: Hybrid in Prague or Warsaw, or remote; working hours aligned with CET, with the operation day starting between 09:00 and 11:00.

What you will do
- Implement server-side backend logic based on technical requirements and product specifications.
- Develop and maintain asynchronous backend services with Python and FastAPI.
- Design, implement, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with external systems.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, data modeling, query optimization, and database migrations.
- Integrate AI services, advertising platforms, cloud storage, and media-processing services.
- Collaborate with product, data, QA, and DevOps teams while contributing to architecture, technical decisions, and documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of production experience with Python.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, asyncpg, SQLAlchemy async, Alembic, MongoDB, and Motor.
- Experience with authentication and security using JWT, bcrypt, and passlib.
- Experience with background processing and messaging using Celery, Redis, and/or Pub/Sub-style queues.
- Experience integrating external APIs and services, including AI services, advertising platforms, and cloud storage.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx, scalable system design, asynchronous error handling, and performance optimization.
Nice to have
- Experience participating in architectural discussions and making technical decisions.
- Experience maintaining README files, diagrams, and API specifications.
