JAVA Developer on OpenXDR platform (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid work in Bratislava, Brno, Košice, or Prague

Salary: From €3,000 gross per month, with the final amount based on skills and experience; performance bonus up to 10% of the basic salary, paid twice per year.

hirify.global develops cybersecurity products and is building an OpenXDR solution for proactive protection across multiple security domains.

What you will do

• Develop Java applications for the OpenXDR platform.
• Build services that store and process low-level security events from endpoint, cloud, email, identity, and network sources.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build, test, and deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Run containerized services on Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Work with monitoring, logging, analytics, databases, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application development on AWS.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Ability to write automation or support scripts using Python or shell.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS MSK, EKS, or Apache Flink.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and observable Java services in the cloud.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts such as Terraform and willingness to learn further.
