Senior Backend Developer, IAM (Go)

Location: Hybrid, with presence in the Helsinki or London office 3 days per week

What you will do

• Shape the IAM platform and extend it across a diverse product portfolio.
• Build large-scale resource planning systems and internal tooling across multiple services and products.
• Work with SRE engineers and data center teams to build APIs for fast, robust resource provisioning.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and deployment processes.
• Apply information security principles to engineering decisions and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of IAM technologies, including OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC, ReBAC, MFA, TOTP, Passkeys, and FIDO2.
• Proficiency in Go, including web APIs, concurrency, performance optimization, and caching.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node, React, microservice architectures, workflows, and public RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases, scalable data models, and Go database tooling.
• Experience with TDD and testcontainers-like test setups instead of interface mocking.

Nice to have

• Experience with workload or machine identities and service accounts.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
