Fraud & Risk Operations Analyst

Location: Union Square, NYC or Remote; work includes nights and weekends due to live sports.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 base plus meaningful equity.

What you will do

• Investigate multi-accounting, bonus abuse, and suspicious betting patterns.
• Analyze user behavior and data to identify risks, anomalies, and potential fraud.
• Build clear, evidence-backed cases using internal tools and administrative systems.
• Make decisions on how to handle suspicious accounts or activity.
• Help strengthen fraud and risk systems as the prediction exchange scales.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in fraud operations, trust and safety, risk, or a similar investigative role.
• Experience in fintech, gaming, marketplaces, or high-volume e-commerce is strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with data, internal tooling, and administrative systems.
• Ability to identify subtle patterns or anomalies in user behavior.
• Clear communication skills, including explaining suspicious activity to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to make thoughtful decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Looker or Tableau.
