Lab Manager (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day laboratory operations, facilities, infrastructure, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and expand lab space, power, cooling, networking, and equipment placement for current and future roadmap projects.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networking equipment, test instruments, power supplies, cooling systems, and environmental chambers.
• Manage equipment procurement, supplier quotations, deliveries, technical issues, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain inventory, equipment tracking, calibration, repairs, lifecycle management, and consumable availability.
• Provide hands-on support through hardware assembly, cabling, soldering, rework, hardware bring-up, and system-level troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in lab operations, system validation, hardware engineering, or a related environment.
• Experience managing hardware or system laboratories, preferably in the semiconductor or ASIC industry.
• Hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex lab environments and test equipment.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, networking equipment, cables, environmental chambers, and cooling systems.
• Experience with lab inventory, equipment procurement, maintenance, vendor coordination, and infrastructure constraints involving power, cooling, space, and networking.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew.

Nice to have

• Experience in ASIC, semiconductor, silicon validation, or system validation environments.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure, Linux-based servers, lab automation, remote lab access, and automated test environments.
• Familiarity with laboratory standards, safety requirements, lab documentation, procedures, and equipment tracking systems.
