Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom; attendance at the London HQ is required at least 3 days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

hirify.global is a fast-growing Series A startup building the context layer for AI coding agents and a platform for AI-native software development.

What you will do

• Design and implement product functionality in collaboration with the product team.
• Build proof-of-concepts and rapidly prototype language integrations for the code generation pipeline.
• Pair with designers to improve interactions across the UI, CLI, and AI coding agents.
• Integrate third-party services and collaborate on platform architecture.
• Establish end-to-end testing strategies for confident production deployments.
• Define technical vision for new product capabilities and align with the wider engineering team.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience working with modular, well-structured codebases across teams and environments.
• Proven day-to-day use of AI coding tools and agents.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
• Comfort contributing to mature codebases and rapidly building prototypes.
• Willingness to work from the London HQ at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Background in AI products or developer tools.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and multiple programming languages, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C/C++, or Haskell.
• Experience collaborating with AI researchers.
• Experience building and scaling REST APIs, especially JSON:API.
• Infrastructure experience, including CI pipelines or Kubernetes.
