Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is a high-growth, venture-backed startup building a platform that uses AI to conduct massive-scale video interviews and model human preferences to power the next generation of AI agents.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end development of product features across the LLM pipeline, infrastructure, backend, and UX.
• Collaborate with frontier model labs to integrate and probe new AI releases.
• Design and scale systems for emotional intelligence analysis, including voice, face, and device ID matching.
• Develop the Human API to embed preference models into external tools like Slack, Linear, and IDEs.
• Solve complex research problems related to preference modeling and qualitative output evaluation.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
• Highly technical background with a passion for language design, compilers, and low-level details.
• Experience or strong interest in pushing LLMs to their limits and building AI-first products.
• Ability to scope work independently and think from a founder-first perspective.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting tradeoffs and technical decisions.
