AI Research Factory Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build novel internal tooling that integrates AI deeply into research workflows, operations, and decision-making.
• Design and run experiments measuring the economic and productivity impact of AI across the company.
• Invent new metrics for human-machine collaboration to identify leverage points.
• Push the frontier of agentic coding by inventing new methods and workflows.
• Partner with internal teams to define the optimal human-machine configuration for their work.

Requirements

• Deep software engineering or data science experience with strong expertise in Python.
• Strong fluency with frontier agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Experience designing and analyzing experiments with rigorous measurement.
• Strong interest in the future of work and AI-augmented organizational design.
• Must be able to work in-person daily at the London headquarters.

Nice to have

• Track record of building tooling that has been successfully adopted by others.
• Background in productivity research, applied economics, or organizational design.
• Experience instrumenting and measuring engineering or research organizations end-to-end.
