Backend Engineer, Secrets Management (C++/Java)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office work is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems.
• Own product security features from concept through delivery.
• Analyze and solve complex problems to improve system security.
• Collaborate with experienced software engineers across the product team.
• Build capabilities that help customers operate mission-critical storage systems without downtime.

Requirements

• Several years of experience with a systems programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with systems software projects such as distributed systems, operating systems, the Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
• Strong curiosity, design sensibility, and willingness to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work from the Prague office in a primarily onsite environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with security technologies such as encryption, network security, or application security.
