AI Design Lead

Location: United States only. Hybrid candidates must live within commuting distance of the New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices and attend three in-office days per week. Fully remote employment is available only to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. at the time of hire.

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually.

What you will do

• Architect AI-native creative workflows that transform human-first designs into scalable, multi-format asset systems.
• Integrate LLMs and design APIs such as Figma, Canva, and Adobe Firefly into the creative production lifecycle.
• Oversee automated asset generation, versioning, adaptation, and modular campaign production.
• Apply human review, brand compliance checks, production guardrails, and QA before final approval.
• Partner with Innovation, Creative, Content, Strategy, and Accounts teams to align AI outputs with client objectives.
• Mentor creative staff and increase organization-wide fluency with AI tools.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on professional experience with LLM-driven platforms and AI-integrated design applications.
• Fluency in structuring, iterating, and version-controlling prompts in production AI environments.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating large-scale brand work, typography, layout, motion design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience translating creative strategy into technical workflows and building scalable design systems, template libraries, and component-based creative architectures.
• Agency experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with complex stakeholder feedback loops.
• Must reside in one of the listed United States locations at the time of hire.
