Staff UX/UI Designer (AI)

Location: Remote from Colombia or Argentina only; applications from outside these countries will not be considered.

What you will do

• Define design strategy and lead end-to-end design for complex, multi-platform client products.
• Own design system architecture and governance, ensuring consistency, scalability, and cross-team adoption.
• Lead UX research strategy, select methodologies, and translate insights into product direction.
• Champion AI-assisted design workflows using tools such as Figma AI and Claude.
• Partner with leadership, clients, engineers, strategists, and delivery leads; facilitate workshops and design sprints.
• Mentor designers, establish quality standards, and improve design operations and collaboration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with a strong product background.
• Expert Figma proficiency and deep experience designing, governing, and scaling design systems.
• Extensive UX research experience, including strategy, methodology selection, and insight synthesis.
• Experience defining design strategy for complex products or engagements and influencing leadership and clients.
• Experience mentoring designers and facilitating workshops, design sprints, and collaborative sessions.
• Must be located in Colombia or Argentina.

Nice to have

• Service design experience, design operations leadership, or substantial multi-platform design experience.
