Senior Risk Officer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop the company’s risk management strategy, framework, policies, risk appetite, limits, and procedures.
• Design and implement risk management methodologies, tools, techniques, and programs covering operational, credit, financial, reputational, and cybersecurity risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and analysis across business functions, new products, strategic projects, agreements, policies, procedures, and system implementations.
• Establish risk monitoring processes, including risk registers, early warning indicators, key risk indicators, incident reporting, and loss analysis.
• Implement risk reporting aligned with local and international regulatory requirements and senior management and board oversight.
• Enhance business continuity planning, risk awareness, insurance and risk transfer practices, and risk management capabilities across the business.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of risk management experience, preferably in the financial industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial studies, or a related field.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, controls, and analysis.
• Familiarity with SAMA compliance standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and G-Suite.
