BI Data Analyst (AI)

Location: London; hybrid schedule with two days per week in the London office.

What you will do

• Structure business problems into well-defined analytical tasks and own projects from scoping through insight delivery.
• Own KPI monitoring and reporting for stakeholder teams across Marketing, Finance, Product, Commercial, and Operations.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and provide solutions to stakeholder problems.
• Build Looker dashboards and Hex notebooks for deep-dive analysis and stakeholder self-serve.
• Write production-quality SQL and Python, collaborate with Analytics Engineers on new data sources, and review AI-generated outputs.
• Communicate insights and recommendations through clear, action-oriented data narratives.

Requirements

• Experience delivering analytical projects end-to-end and translating business problems into structured analysis.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with a focus on production-quality code and peer review.
• Experience building dashboards, KPI reporting, and data analysis workflows.
• Ability to investigate anomalies, validate data accuracy, and explain analytical findings clearly.
• Ability to use AI tools for query generation, analysis summarisation, documentation, and code review while maintaining accuracy and repeatability.
