Senior Technical Program Manager (Silicon Photonics)

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and manage silicon tapeouts, advanced packaging, bring-up, validation, and system development programs end to end.
• Partner with engineering leads and cross-functional teams to estimate, prioritize, and sequence work while balancing scope, quality, and schedule.
• Create and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage risks, issues, quality, release schedules, and tapeout milestones; provide clear visibility to leadership.
• Facilitate technical reviews, operational checkpoints, and recurring program meetings.
• Coordinate communications with management, vendors, customers, and external partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in silicon design, tapeout, bring-up, validation, and product qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of silicon tapeout, including verification, signoff, and mask ordering.
• Experience with product bring-up, silicon validation, and qualification flows.
• Semiconductor background in chip design, physical design, or test engineering.
• Ability to influence without authority, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and use program management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• Experience with EVT/DVT.
• Knowledge of photonic structures, optical communication, silicon photonics, laser solutions, and heterogeneous integration.
• Experience with 2.5D/3D integration, chiplets, and silicon photonics packaging.
• Experience building program management frameworks in a startup or new business unit.
