Developer Relations (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States

Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 plus equity

hirify.global is an open-source visual AI platform and inference engine for building modular AI workflows, used across creative and production environments.

What you will do

• Own the developer path from creating a workflow to calling hirify.global from a production application.
• Build sample applications, starter templates, SDK integrations, and reference implementations with production-grade secret handling, error handling, retries, and backoff.
• Write tutorials, technical guides, migration documentation, and API reference feedback for developers and custom node authors.
• Build against every API surface, identify integration friction, and provide concrete product feedback through engineering planning and collaboration.
• Run office hours, workshops, and hackathons for developers building on hirify.global.
• Represent hirify.global publicly through written guides, videos, livestreams, and technical community engagement.

Requirements

• Ability to build and ship a real production application against an API or self-hosted service.
• Experience integrating a third-party API, SDK, or developer platform into a product.
• Technical content experience, including tutorials, sample repositories, videos, or documentation used by developers.
• Enough generative AI knowledge to discuss checkpoints, LoRAs, and samplers credibly.
• Ability to provide direct, specific product feedback and operate without an established playbook.
• Python and TypeScript are the initial SDK languages; experience with Go, Rust, or C++ is also acceptable.

Nice to have

• Experience with media, VFX, game, or other creative production pipelines.
• Experience shipping SDK, authentication, or API platform code.
• Experience with documentation tooling and maintaining accurate developer docs.
• Experience using hirify.global, writing custom nodes, or working with large open-source communities.
• Experience serving both self-serve developers and enterprise integration teams.

Hiring process

• Recruiter screen, technical conversation, behavioral conversation, and on-site interview.
• The on-site includes a review of published work and a short exercise building against the hirify.global API, followed by a critique of the API and documentation.
