Developer Advocate (AI)

Location: Remote from San Francisco / the Bay Area, with travel for customer and conference sessions across the US

hirify.global is a Series A startup building a context layer for AI coding agents and a platform for AI-native software development. The company is based in London and backed by Index Ventures, Accel, GV, and Boldstart.

What you will do

• Build apps, integrations, and creative projects with hirify.global that demonstrate AI-native software development.
• Represent hirify.global at Bay Area AI meetups and hackathons through hands-on collaboration, demos, and presentations.
• Create articles, tutorials, guides, and videos with practical insights into AI-native development.
• Travel across the US to deliver customer and conference sessions.
• Explore the AI developer tooling ecosystem and identify integration opportunities.
• Run webinars, appear on podcasts, and engage with developer communities across online platforms.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Bay Area/San Francisco and active in the local AI developer community.
• Hands-on experience with cutting-edge agentic coding tools and a clear perspective on their development.
• Ability to build and ship code, integrations, applications, or experiments independently.
• Self-directed working style and comfort operating with limited day-to-day guidance from a London-based team.
• Availability and experience to travel across the US for customer and conference presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical AI topics.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source communities and contributor ecosystems.
• An existing network in Bay Area AI developer tooling.
• Experience working in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment.
