Senior Developer Advocate - Modern App Development (AI)

Location: Remote in California, Nevada, Texas, or Washington, USA

Salary: $172,000–$215,000 USD per year, plus equity and potential variable compensation

What you will do

• Explore how AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools are changing software development workflows.
• Create peer-to-peer technical content through repositories, blogs, videos, presentations, and other public formats.
• Help developers balance rapid prototyping with performance, code health, scalability, and reliability practices.
• Build open-source boilerplate templates, quickstarts, and tools for integrating observability into AI-native workflows.
• Support integrations across Vercel, Supabase, AWS, GCP, Azure, and other modern platforms.
• Translate feedback from developer communities into actionable product insights and roadmap input.

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience shipping applications from scratch or working in early-stage startup environments.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools in daily development workflows.
• Ability to write and debug code across multiple languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience deploying applications across modern platforms and traditional cloud ecosystems.
• Approximately 3+ years of technical storytelling and community engagement experience.
• Publicly available technical work, such as GitHub repositories, technical blogs, video walkthroughs, or public-speaking presentations.
