What you will do

• Develop C#/.NET desktop applications with MVVM architecture for optical transceiver testing.
• Integrate hardware by writing drivers and control code for laboratory equipment.
• Embed and integrate Python test scripts and libraries within the .NET application.
• Build software to run at manufacturing scale producing thousands of units daily.
• Manage multi-threaded test execution and instrument resource locking.

Requirements

• Location: Kraków, Poland or San Jose, USA with hybrid work format
• 5+ years C#/.NET experience including GUI frameworks (WPF), MVVM, async/await, and thread safety.
• Strong concurrent programming skills and experience with .NET 8 or later.
• 3+ years Python experience with OOP and pytest.
• Knowledge of clean architecture principles and MongoDB or similar document databases.
• Ability to debug remotely using logs and telemetry.

Nice to have

• Experience with test and measurement instruments and unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of optical communications, photonics, and hardware interfaces (serial, TCP, I2C, GPIB).
• Familiarity with factory/manufacturing software or MES integration.
