Founding Communications Lead (AI)

hirify.global builds an AI-powered customer research platform that conducts in-depth interviews, analyzes conversations, and delivers executive-ready insights.

What you will do

• Own communications strategy across media relations, executive communications, company announcements, employer brand, and core company narrative.
• Develop narratives, talking points, messaging guides, press materials, media kits, executive bios, and briefing documents.
• Build relationships with technology and B2B reporters and shape compelling media angles and pitches.
• Prepare executives and spokespeople for media interviews, customer conversations, events, and challenging questions.
• Shape founder thought leadership through bylines, op-eds, speaking opportunities, social posts, and public-facing points of view.
• Partner with leadership on product launches, funding news, customer momentum, research reports, events, awards, and analyst briefings.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in communications, PR, media relations, executive communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, AI, enterprise software, or a high-growth startup environment.
• Excellent storytelling skills and strong judgment regarding what is newsworthy, credible, and memorable.
• Ability to write clearly and quickly across pitches, announcements, founder posts, talking points, bylines, internal notes, and executive narratives.
• Comfort working as a senior individual contributor and building a communications function from zero to one.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience at a strong PR agency and a transition to in-house communications.
• Journalism experience or close collaboration with journalists in technology, startups, business, or enterprise software.
• Experience turning company milestones, product launches, founder ideas, or customer momentum into media stories.
