Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Windsor, Connecticut, United States; telecommuting permitted. Domestic and international travel of approximately 5% is required, with occasional work outside typical local business hours to collaborate with global colleagues.

What you will do

• Prioritize product initiatives with leadership to support business strategy.
• Engage with clients to understand product usage, pain points, and opportunities to improve satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing product features and workflows for the APX platform.
• Collaborate with QA engineers on comprehensive, extensible test plans and with technical writers on product documentation.
• Coordinate with client support and professional services to deliver customer success.
• Manage release or beta-program projects, provide status reporting, technical guidance, mentoring, and product training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, or another mathematical or quantitative field, plus 3 years of enterprise software development experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree plus 1 year of experience.
• Strong reading and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial documents and translate requirements into product specifications.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to set product priorities while balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Experience with agile development and direct client engagement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
