Product Power Engineer (RISC-V)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Requires proof of the right to work in the United States and authorization to access export-controlled technology.

Salary: $178,848–$218,592 base pay, plus possible variable or incentive compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Collect and analyze power consumption across hirify.global intellectual property.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to optimize power efficiency.
• Correlate power models with RTL and silicon results.
• Improve and innovate power analysis flows.
• Guide performance–power trade-offs toward optimal designs.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience evaluating power impacts at the architecture, logic design, and circuit levels.
• Strong knowledge of high-performance out-of-order CPU computer architecture.
• Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization.
• Self-starting attitude, fast learning ability, and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with hardware development, including RTL and implementation flows, verification and validation, backend flows, or FPGA flows.
• Software development experience.
