Senior Product Designer (Healthcare)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Annual salary: $160,000–$220,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own a broad product area within a design pod and deliver complex projects from discovery through launch.
• Translate ambiguous business goals into validated hypotheses and measurable user outcomes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, data science, and other cross-functional partners across mobile and desktop experiences.
• Use A/B testing, user research, and data insights to improve time-to-value and member engagement.
• Contribute to scalable design systems, polished interfaces, micro-interactions, and intuitive user flows.
• Mentor less experienced designers through direct and actionable feedback.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of product design experience partnering with product and engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction, Industrial, Product, Service Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• Polished portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of successful product launches.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, including layout, iconography, typography, and interface aesthetics.
• Proficiency in prototyping across multiple fidelities and comfort using research and data to guide design decisions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in San Francisco, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience designing across mobile, desktop, and wearable platforms.
• Curiosity about generative AI and AI-driven product features, including trust and transparency considerations.
• Experience with complex systems, workflow optimization, or healthcare products.
