Senior Director Financial Reporting / Global Accounting Controller

What you will do

• Own accurate and timely IFRS financial reporting for hirify.global entities, including consolidated financial statements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group close activities, account analysis, and reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax and VAT compliance, external audits, tax advisors, and audit committee support.
• Build scalable financial controls and improve Procure-to-Pay, banking, treasury, vendor management, and finance-system access processes.
• Lead accounting operations for international subsidiaries and coordinate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop an AI-driven accounting function by automating reconciliations, accelerating close activities, and validating outputs for auditability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience, including auditing and/or financial controller responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing financial statements.
• Strong general-ledger, month-end, and year-end close experience.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, reporting tools, and accounting-software administration.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models.
• Knowledge of Maestro and experience preparing tax papers.
• Advanced degree in Accounting and CPA or Statsautorisert Revisor qualification.
