Senior Applications Engineer (Firmware) - SCG

What you will do

• Develop low-level MCU firmware modules, real-time kernel components, and host applications and utilities.
• Support customers deploying Security Computer Group products and collaborate with architects, designers, validation engineers, marketing, sales, and FAEs.
• Prepare application notes, design guides, user manuals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept platforms.
• Design and support customer-facing evaluation boards through schematic review, layout input, and fabrication support.
• Train and support FAEs and customers throughout product evaluation and deployment.

Requirements

• At least 7.5 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ and experience developing and debugging embedded microcontroller firmware.
• Strong understanding of embedded microprocessor design, internal architecture, PC hardware architecture, I/O subsystems, address decoding, programmable peripheral ICs, and keyboard controllers.
• Experience with digital and analog circuit design, hardware/software integration, and practical laboratory work using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related equipment.
• Ability to understand and apply eSPI, LPC, QSPI, I2C/SMBus, I3C, USB, MCTP, PECI, PCI, cryptographic security functions, and CAN specifications.
• Self-motivated, project-oriented, collaborative, and effective in technical communication; willingness and ability to travel.

• Familiarity with Zephyr RTOS.
