Group Leader, General Assembly - Crew B (Automotive)

Location: Warsaw Manufacturing Site, United States. Crew B hours are Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 pm–5:30 am; training begins on day shift before transitioning to Crew B.

Salary: $108,877–$163,316 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Oversee daily Trim, Chassis, or Final Line assembly operations and adjust resources to meet production targets.
• Coordinate with production planning, logistics, and engineering to optimize workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
• Enforce OSHA, environmental, workplace safety, and product safety standards through audits and risk assessments.
• Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Team Leaders and Team Members while managing staffing levels.
• Ensure quality compliance, address non-conformances, and implement corrective actions with Quality Assurance.
• Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, waste elimination, cost reduction, and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Knowledge of trim line processes, automotive interior components, Just-In-Time manufacturing, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning software.
