TL;DR
Executive Technical Analyst (Nuclear Energy): Supporting the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer through technical analysis, strategic research, executive briefings, and cross-functional project coordination with an accent on reactor design, licensing, safety, and advanced energy strategy. Focus on distilling complex technical information, identifying risks and blockers, coordinating major reviews and regulatory engagements, and building decision-support systems for executive leadership.

Location: Torrance, California, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Research engineering, regulatory, commercial, market, technology, competitor, and strategic topics.
  • Analyze technical reports and prepare executive briefings, memoranda, white papers, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Support reviews of reactor design, licensing, safety, engineering documentation, major design milestones, and regulatory engagements.
  • Coordinate work across engineering, licensing, operations, manufacturing, customers, regulators, investors, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor schedules, milestones, commitments, risks, blockers, action registers, and decision logs.
  • Lead special projects and improve executive dashboards, documentation standards, workflows, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in management consulting, engineering, technical project management, strategy, or a similarly analytical role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident is required.

Nice to have

  • Management or engineering consulting experience.
  • Nuclear, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, or advanced technology experience.
  • Experience working with executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation, project controls, or regulatory environments.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and productivity.
