Supply Chain Manager (Fusion Energy)

Salary: $85,000–$150,000 per year

hirify.global is developing a simplified stellarator architecture using computer-controlled planar coil arrays to advance commercial fusion energy.

What you will do

• Own the procurement process from requisition through payment, ensuring timely availability of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Develop strategic plans to optimize procurement processes and manage supplier relationships.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Work with engineering, prototyping, and finance teams to forecast demand across projects.
• Analyze prototyping spending, recommend cost reductions, and monitor supplier performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities with the finance team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supply chain management experience and a related degree.
• Experience in supply chain management, procurement, and finance within a hard-tech environment.
• Advanced proficiency with supply chain tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience negotiating with and managing diverse suppliers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project-prioritization skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs.
