Senior Full-Stack Engineers (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid, in-office Mondays and Wednesdays) or Chicago, IL (remote)

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features from database to user interface for 340B compliance, intake, rebate management, and claims reconciliation workflows.
• Partner with product managers and pharmacy operations experts to understand customer needs and shape product solutions.
• Own features end to end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Make technical tradeoffs between delivery speed and platform durability as the product scales.
• Contribute to the engineering foundation and embed AI into product workflows.
• Review code, contribute to design discussions, and raise technical standards across the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience across the stack.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, plus working proficiency in Python.
• Experience building customer-facing products rather than primarily internal tools or developer platforms.
• Ability to work across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to be based in San Francisco for a hybrid schedule or in Chicago for remote work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java or Ruby.
• Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience.
• Experience helping a startup scale from 0 to 1 and beyond.
