PostTrade Strategy Specialist (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States

Salary: USD 150,000–200,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Evaluate and deploy post-trade technologies and risk controls.
• Design scalable onboarding processes that reduce go-to-market time for new global trading initiatives.
• Lead strategic optimizations across PostTrade functions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Assess processes, relationships, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and growth.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize the cataloging and ingestion of external data for reconciliation, reporting, and analytics.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and the global trading landscape.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior, hands-on operational role supporting trading, ideally combining buy-side and sell-side experience.
• Deep understanding of the strategic role of prime brokers at a multi-strategy trading firm.
• Ability to build and strengthen prime broker relationships and support platform needs.
• Ability to negotiate complex problems with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including developers and external sell-side vendors.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
