What you will do
- Lead the Accounting & Controlling function across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Act as strategic deputy to the VP of Accounting & Controlling and help define the finance roadmap.
- Manage, coach, and develop the accounting team while promoting accountability and operational excellence.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity.
- Strengthen internal controls, IFRS compliance, revenue recognition, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and intercompany accounting.
- Lead audits, statutory reporting, international expansion support, and finance transformation initiatives including process redesign, automation, and ERP optimization.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading accounting and controlling functions in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
- Experience managing accounting teams in a fast-paced international business.
- Strong technical accounting expertise and deep knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction accounting, revenue recognition, indirect tax compliance, financial controls, risk management, and audits.
- Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and influencing cross-functional decisions.
- Pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in a global B2B SaaS company and with international expansion, entity setup, and cross-border compliance.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax structures.
- Big Four or equivalent public accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP implementation or optimization, preferably NetSuite.
- Experience preparing organizations for rapid growth, acquisitions, or IPO readiness.
