Director, Accounting & Tax

Location: Poland. Flexible office, hybrid, or home working is available.

What you will do

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across all entities, including multi-currency consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Lead and develop the Accounting and Accounts Payable teams while maintaining accurate books and robust procure-to-pay controls.
• Manage group tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes across jurisdictions.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash management, foreign-exchange exposure, and cash-flow forecasting.
• Develop scalable accounting policies, processes, internal controls, and finance-system improvements.
• Lead statutory and ad hoc audits, technical accounting research, system implementations, and new legal-entity integrations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, consolidation, and tax, including several years leading teams.
• Recognized professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge in IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Swiss GAAP FER within an international, multi-entity environment.
• Experience with corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT, treasury, cash management, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP and finance transformation tools.
• Business-fluent English is required in written and spoken communication.
