Location: Onsite in Tucson, Arizona, United States. The role may require extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts according to operational needs. Candidates for U.S. offices must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful U.S. permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

What you will do
- Lead facilities, machine shop, maintenance, and site infrastructure functions, including direct supervision of Machine Shop and Facilities teams.
- Develop and execute operational strategies focused on efficiency, productivity, quality, cost reduction, and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage facility operations, repairs, upgrades, security, janitorial services, environmental compliance, and ESD programs.
- Lead facility renovations, infrastructure improvements, cleanroom expansions, and capital projects from planning through execution.
- Oversee equipment lifecycle activities, maintenance programs, CMMS and facility ticketing systems, and operational performance metrics.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and executive leadership to support program execution and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 14 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multifunctional operational teams.
- Experience leading operations, facilities, manufacturing support, maintenance, or production organizations in aerospace, defense, electro-optical, or precision manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Tucson and meet applicable U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.
Nice to have
- Science or engineering bachelor’s degree.
- Experience managing machine shops, cleanroom facilities, environmental controls, or manufacturing support operations.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of facilities infrastructure, maintenance systems, capital improvement projects, CMMS, ERP/MRP, or project management systems.
