Senior / Principal Power Integrity Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Architect power delivery networks for 2.5D/3D heterogeneous integration, chiplets, interposers, substrates, and multi-rail systems.
• Analyze and optimize power integrity from die-level IR drop and electromigration through package and board-level PDN behavior.
• Model, simulate, and validate power delivery solutions using Ansys, Cadence, Apache, or equivalent tools.
• Lead power integrity co-design across silicon, package, photonics, architecture, and system engineering teams.
• Drive component qualification, foundry and OSAT collaboration, manufacturability, yield, and cost considerations.
• Own lab validation, simulation correlation, reliability analysis, and readiness for volume production.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in power integrity, PDN design, frequency-domain analysis, transient response, decoupling, IR drop, electromigration, and noise mitigation.
• Experience leading power integrity work for 2.5D/3D integration, chiplets, silicon interposers, FOWLP, CoWoS, hybrid bonding, or similar technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s/PhD with 7+ years.
• Hands-on experience with PI simulation tools such as Ansys, Cadence/Sigrity, Keysight ADS, Apache/RedHawk, or equivalents.
• Strong understanding of chip-package-system interactions, AI/HPC workloads, photonic interconnects, high-speed signaling, and reliability failure mechanisms.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional programs involving global teams, foundries, OSATs, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience with silicon photonics, CPO/NPO, photonic IC and laser integration, or optical interconnects for AI accelerators.
• Experience with SerDes, PCIe/CXL, HBM, signal integrity and power integrity co-optimization, or advanced memory subsystems.
• Knowledge of photonic and electrical IC foundry processes, board-level power delivery, and thermal-electrical coupling.
