What you will do

• Design, develop, review, and execute test plans and test cases for the Quartus Software Design Suite.
• Automate testing with Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, and established testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with software development, hardware design, and applications engineering teams to clarify requirements and improve testability.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Document and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.
• Improve validation processes and apply current software testing practices, including GUI automation and AI-assisted test analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software validation, quality assurance, or testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Tcl, and Bash, with experience using defect-tracking and version-control systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, Git, or Perforce.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA software flows such as Quartus, Vivado, or Lattice.
• Knowledge of Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, FPGA design flows, embedded systems, Linux or Windows, and device drivers.
• Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, Memory, and AXI4 protocols.
